Practice Policies

Waiting times:

Please help us to reduce waiting times:
1. Advise us in advance if you think you may need a long appointment.
2. Book a separate appointment for each family member
to be seen.
3. If you are unable to keep an appointment, please let us know as soon as possible.

This helps us to re schedule appointments for people needing to be seen on that day.

Home Visits

We are happy to visit you at home if you are too sick to come to the surgery. Please call 93879088 before 10:00 am so house calls can be organised as soon as possible.

Pathology/Xray Results

Patients are responsible for having the recommended tests performed. To avoid misinterpretation, pathology and X ray results will NOT be given out over the phone. An appointment needs to be made for these results.

Telephone

You can contact one of the doctors by phoning the clinic. A message will be taken when the doctor is with another patient, as we try not to interrupt consultations. Emergency calls are put straight through.

Feedback

We are committed to excellence in serving your needs.
We therefore value your feedback both positive and negative.
Please feel free to talk to your doctor or receptionist.
You may prefer to write to us or use our feedback forms in the waiting area.
We take your concerns, suggestions and complaints seriously.
If you are dissatisfied with the outcome of our handling of your complaint you may contact the Victorian Health Services Commissioner, 30th Floor, 570 Bourke St, Melbourne, 3000. Phone 8601 5200.

Recall System

We are committed to Preventative Medicine and Continuity of Care
You may be contacted by our practice for followup medical appointments and periodic medical checkups.
